How can we remove the carbon from a stoved one-pack, black, matt paint? A residual concentration of 0,5 %would be acceptable?
The real problem is the analytical determination of carbon in the pigment or binder. With black iron oxide, graphite or carbon black, extraction is unlikely to yield satisfactory results, leaving only the possibility of spectroscopic analysis. However such techniques would also measure the binder as well.
