Oil resistant machine coatings

Can you suggest a way of making our machine paints oil resistant ?

Machine paints

generally have to show very high chemical resistance, especially resistance to lubricating oils and fuels. The important requirement for the paint‘s usefulness is that it is fully crosslinked when it is stoved or hardened at room temperature. Stoving enamels which will normally meet this requirement, include products based on phenolic or

epoxy resins

, also in modified or combined form.

Properly formulated

polyurethane based paints

would also be suitable, especially where paints have to be cured at room temperature. It is advisable to check chemical resistance of the hardened film in accordance with ISO 2812.
