We are looking for a non-stick coating which we can apply to printed film.
We would recommend a coating based on phenyl methyl silicone resin for the present case ( protective coating of printed film ). The non-stick affect can be varied by varying the phenyl content of the silicone resin. In the same way, the flesibility of the coating can likewise be matched to that of the substrate, which would be an advantage for this special application. Such non-stick coatings normally have a smooth finish. Resin suppliers can provide suitable guide formulations. Some of these arewacker, Goldschmidt, Bayer and Dow Corning, but there are, of course, others.
